Dollars for Miles

Here’s how it works:

I run the miles, you donate the dollars. I want every mile I run to make a difference for the kids of St. Jude, so I’m pushing myself to raise money with each and every mile I accumulate. I’m searching for one supporter each week to donate the amount of dollars that reflects the number of miles I run that week.

If you want to do even more to make a difference, I’ll meet the challenge; I’ll donate a dollar for every mile YOU run that week. Take that as your reason to get out and run one mile instead of none, or two instead of one or six instead of four. Every mile is a dollar. You support me, I support you, and together we support St. Jude!

So what exactly are you committing to?

Running and fundraising for St. Jude.

A typical week of training for me right now looks like 20 miles a week. By the end of summer, it will look more like 40 miles a week.

So if you want to hold out for the longer weeks, then absolutely do so. If you’re willing to help me get started by donating early on, I truly appreciate it. And if you want to ‘sponsor’ more than one week, well, you’re my new best friend.
