What does it mean to be "in-between?"
In-between is not just my story; it’s everyone’s story. It’s the realization that you’ve reached ‘adulthood’ but don’t know what’s next. It’s the desire for adventure, but fear of the unknown. It’s confusion about your place in the world. It’s the desire to build something, but not knowing where to start. It’s the messy every day, the special occasions, the weary endings and joyful finish lines.
I think a huge step to where we want to be, is realizing it’s okay to be in-between.
I’m a graphic designer, storyteller, business owner, mom, and lover of all things adventure and travel. I’m constantly learning more about who I am and who I want to be. I write to sort through my thoughts and feelings about the world, navigating business, and general life things on the blog. I believe that cool places don’t just happen – they’re built by people willing to put in the work. I helped my husband and our friends build the brand for Native Brew Works, opened a small coffee shop with my business partner, and now through In-Between Branding, I help other business owners and organizations establish and build their own brands.
Our little pack includes my husband, Jackson, our son, Oliver Banks, & our dogs, Kona and Mira. We like to hit the trails as often as possible, but can also often be found on the porch drinking beer.

Whether you’re eighteen or eighty, I promise you’re not the only one feeling lost or confused about what to do with your life. Me? Some days I’m ready to launch myself into another project that deepens our roots in Northeast Arkansas. Others, I want to sell everything and hit the road.
That’s why I’ve made it my mission to share our’s and other’s stories on embracing life and moving forward when you don’t know what to do next. On this site you’ll find interviews with expert adventurers and business owners, travel inspiration, and musings on life, work and everything in-between.
